July 2025 (no weekly meetings this month)
1 – Start of new fiscal year (FY26). Treasurer pays annual dues to SI and Lake County Chamber of Commerce
20 – All information for the 2025-26 Member book is due to Lissa.
–Review committee audits Treasurer’s books with 30 days close of FY24 and provides written report to President.
August 2025 (no weekly meetings this month)
15 Live Your Dream scholarship application is available on the Lakeview Soroptimist website
31 Programs of Service applications open (due October 15)
–Ways and Means meets to determine events for fund raising

9 Business meeting: Treasurer gives year-end financial report and presents current budget to membership
October 2025
7 Business meeting: Ways and Means Committee presents proposed fund raising events and members vote on projects.
15 Programs of Service applications are due. Committee meets to review and elect projects and funding amounts.
–SOLT committee meets with new members and their sponsors.
November 2025
4 Business meeting. Programs of Service committee presents proposed projects and funding amounts to be voted on at the December business meeting.
15 Live Your Dream applications due.
December 2025
2 Business meeting. Members vote on Programs of Service projects.
January 2026
6 Business meeting.
–Treasurer provides to Board verification of filing IRS Form 990.
–President and Board each select 1 Nominating Committee member to be presented at February business meeting.
February 2026
3 Business meeting: President forms Nominating Committee.
March 2026
3 Business meeting: Nominating Committee presents slate of new officers to be voted on at April business meeting.
1 Vo-Tech and Lakeview Soroptimist Scholarship applications available on the Lakeview Soroptimist website.
–Budget Committee meets and prepares proposed new budget.
–Vice President’s Project Committee meets to plan luncheon and confirm the date with school officials.
April 2026
7 Business meeting: Nominating Committee presents slate of officers and takes nominations from the floor. Members vote for new officers.

–Vice President’s committee organizes Senior Girls’ Luncheon.
–NW Regional Conference.
May 2026
5 Business meeting: Members vote on (1) proposed new budget and (2) Programs of Service funding allocations.
15 Vo-Tech and Lakeview Soroptimist Scholarship applications due; winners announced at the Senior Awards assembly in June.
19 Senior Girls’ Luncheon (usually held on the 3rd Tuesday)
31 Membership dues become payable.

15 Membership dues become delinquent. A late fee will be charged for dues paid after this date.
