Lakeview Soroptimist Barb Simpson Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship eligibility:

1. Lakeview High School female senior graduating in 2026 or

2. is a resident of Lake County School District 7 and enrolled in an on-line school program or

3. is a resident of Lake County School District 7 and enrolled as a home-schooled student,

The senior woman must be enrolled in, or accepted to a 4-year college program. Proof of acceptance to college must be received with the application. (Funds will be sent directly to the school.)

Instructions:

1. Carefully read all information and follow the instructions in this application; include All requested information.

2. Fill out the application neatly and completely; correct spelling and grammar are expected and will be considered in the assessment of your application.

3. Ask two people (one from an LHS teacher and one from a community member – no family members) to fill out a reference form from this website and submit it by Friday, May 15, 2026.

4. Submit your completed application by Friday, May 15, 2026. Late applications will not be considered.
