Who we are

Lakeview Soroptimists are a local service organization serving the Lakeview, Oregon area. We are a non-profit group of women who raise money to help women and children in our community.

Membership application

We welcome new members to our club. Please click on the following link to access our membership form. Membership form

Membership commitments include time and financial.

Time

• Participate in at least 3 committees (a monthly committee, a technical committee and either the Fall or Spring Fun and Fellowship committee
• Support our service projects by attending committee meetings, helping set up and clean up after your event and attending the event.
•  Attend weekly club meetings on Tuesdays at noon. Our business meeting is the first Tuesday of the month.

Financial

• Annual dues (check with treasurer for current charge)
• club meeting lunches (optional)

Types of Committees

• Monthly committees (September through June)
• Fun and Fellowship and Ways and Means
• Technical committees (archives & property, budget, laws & resolutions, member communication, membership/SOLT, public relations awareness, review, SIA awards/education, vice president’s project (Sr. Girls Luncheon)

Each year our organization selects local projects that will help women and girls in our community. Please fill out the following application if your group would like to receive some of our locally raised funds and click “submit”. Programs of Service application

Scholarship applications

The Lakeview Scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving senior. If you would like to apply for this scholarship, it will be available on this website during the month of March, 2024.

The Vo-Tech scholarship is awarded each year to a senior interested in a technical school. If you would like to apply for this scholarship, it will be available on this website during the month of March, 2024.
